Joe Define, M.A., Resident in Counseling
Joe received a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Liberty University in 2013 after working several years in a completely different field. Over the past several years, Joe has worked with children ages 5-17 in both the home and school setting. Joe discovered that he has a passion for working with children and families to help guide them through their own unique difficulties in life and discover hope in their circumstances. Joe utilizes a client-centered and trauma-informed approach in his practice and places great importance on meeting the client where they’re at and collaborating on treatment goals. His interests include working with persons struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, ADHD, behavioral challenges, and interpersonal communication. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and trying to talk himself into going to the gym.
